GAO Denies Delta-21 Bid Protest Over USDA Contract

Law360, New York (December 6, 2010, 8:39 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has denied a bid protest filed by Delta-21 Resources Inc. challenging the award of a contract to conduct store visits for the government’s food stamp program to Information Systems and Networks Corp.

Delta-21 argued that the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which oversees the program, had not reasonably considered whether Information Systems’ proposed bid was realistic, given how many store site visits the company estimated could be completed by an employee in a single day.
