Kirkland Reps Danaher In $685M Aerospace Unit Sale

Law360, New York (January 18, 2011, 1:25 PM EST) -- U.S. medical and industrial manufacturer Danaher Corp. said Tuesday it would sell off its aerospace unit to U.K.-based engineering company Meggitt PLC for $685 million in cash.

Washington-based Danaher plans to sell its Pacific Scientific Aerospace unit, which supplies electric power, electric linear actuation, and safety and security products to military and commercial aerospace markets, Danaher said Tuesday.
