Judge Grants St. Vincent Ch. 11 Plan Extension

Law360, New York (January 26, 2011, 7:04 PM EST) -- St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers has won an extension to file its reorganization plan after convincing a bankruptcy judge that it needed more time to juggle the administration of its businesses and real estate assets.

In an order Tuesday, Judge Celia J. Morris of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York extended the debtors' exclusive plan period until April 11 and set June 8 as the deadline for soliciting votes.
