ITC To Probe LG Phones At Sony's Request

Law360, New York (January 28, 2011, 4:03 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has voted to launch an investigation into cell phones and modems imported into the U.S. by LG Electronics Inc. following Sony Corp.'s assertion of seven patents for image processing and data transmission.

The ITC said Thursday that it would set a target date for completing the investigation within 45 days.
