Cypress To Settle SRAM Antitrust MDL For $1M

Law360, New York (February 07, 2011, 2:04 PM ET) -- Cypress Semiconductor Corp. has agreed to pay $1 million to duck trial and settle claims by a class of indirect purchasers that it participated in a price-fixing conspiracy in the market for static random access memory.

Attorneys for the indirect purchasers said in a motion filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California that the deal should be granted preliminary approval because it represented “a significant recovery for the class.”
