Ex-GC Settles Defamation Suit Against Transit Agency

Law360, New York (February 25, 2011, 7:09 PM EST) -- Houston's transportation authority will pay up to $100,000 in legal fees to settle a defamation lawsuit brought against it by its former general counsel, who alleged the agency waged a media war against her after she was fired.
