EPA, Enviro Groups Seek To Stay ESA Pesticide Suit

Law360, New York (March 15, 2011, 7:35 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and two environmental groups agreed Monday to call a temporary halt to litigation alleging the EPA is violating the Endangered Species Act by allowing pesticides in the habitats of 214 endangered species across the U.S.

The joint motion to stay the litigation filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California by the EPA and plaintiffs the Center for Biological Diversity and Pesticide Action Network North America asks the court for a 90-day stay.
