Law360, New York (April 07, 2011, 2:43 PM ET) -- Eleven plaintiffs resolved claims Wednesday against Getty Properties Corp. and Leemilt Petroleum Inc. in a multidistrict litigation in New York over groundwater contamination caused by methyl tertiary-butyl ether, the latest in a series of settlements in the matter.
Six municipalities and five local water regulators agreed to dismiss with prejudice separate suits against Getty and Leemilt, settling for undisclosed amounts, according to a joint motion in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
