Ex-MLBer Dykstra Arrested For Bankruptcy Fraud

Law360, New York (April 15, 2011, 8:10 PM EDT) -- Former MLB star Lenny Dykstra was arrested Thursday in California and charged with bankruptcy fraud for allegedly stealing and destroying items from his $18.5 million Ventura County mansion.

Dykstra, who gained fame as a center fielder for the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies, was named in a one-count criminal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
