Ex-Schlumberger Worker Breached Employment Deal: Suit

Law360, New York (April 19, 2011, 9:51 PM EDT) -- Schlumberger Technology Corp. on Tuesday sued a former employee in Texas state court for allegedly breaching an agreement with the company after leaving to work for Houston-based competitor Bayou Well Services Inc.

The Sugar Land, Texas-based oilfield services company lodged a complaint claiming Jessica Krall’s violation of the employee confidentiality, nondisclosure, intellectual property, nonsolicitation and noncompetition agreement led Schlumberger to lose employees and business.

“Krall has also engaged in activities designed to harm Schlumberger’s relationships with its employees and customers,” according to the complaint.
