US Fights Rejection Of Ohio Sewage Decree

Law360, New York (May 16, 2011, 7:38 PM ET) -- The U.S. government on Monday appealed a federal judge's decision to reject an unopposed consent decree in which Akron, Ohio, would have paid a fine and made improvements to its sewer system to stop pollutants from entering the Cuyahoga River.

The case, initially filed in February 2009, will now make its way from Ohio federal court to the Sixth Circuit.
