Law360, New York (July 05, 2011, 7:00 PM ET) -- A proposed class of retired NFL players on Monday asked a Minnesota federal court to stop negotiations in the league’s labor and antitrust dispute with current players, saying the negotiations will harm their pensions and benefits.
In an amended complaint, the retirees allege the current players have left them out of talks with the NFL that could compromise their health and disability plans by diverting to current players additional money the league promised to retirees.
