Law360, New York (July 18, 2011, 4:03 PM ET) -- A Massachusetts federal jury on Friday ruled that IZI Medical Products LLC infringed two patents asserted by Hologic Inc. in a suit over a breast cushion that reduces discomfort during mammograms, delivering the verdict about three months after Hologic filed suit.
Following a five-day trial in Boston, the jury returned a verdict in Hologic's favor regarding two of three asserted patent claims, but said IZI had not infringed a third patent.
