Law360, Washington (July 21, 2011, 6:51 PM ET) -- A Washington federal judge dismissed several major defendants Tuesday from a Hewlett-Packard Co. selling agent employee's qui tam suit alleging that HP and others violated the False Claims Act when they sold technology products made in Asia to the U.S. government.
Relator Brady Folliard alleges the defendants sold products under government contracts from nondesignated countries in violation of the Trade Agreements Act, the terms of their procurement contracts and several other trade regulations and laws.
