NLRB Head 'Surprised' By House Committee's Subpoena

Law360, New York (August 8, 2011, 4:47 PM EDT) -- National Labor Relations Board Acting General Counsel Lafe Solomon said Monday he was “disappointed and surprised” that federal lawmakers had subpoenaed information relating to the unfair labor practices complaint the NLRB issued against the Boeing Co. in April.

Solomon's response came after the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee's chairman, Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., issued a subpoena to Solomon on Sunday. The subpoena gives Solomon until noon on Aug. 12 to comply.
