Lenovo To Exit ITC Probe Over Sound Effects Patents

Law360, New York (September 01, 2011, 3:33 PM ET) -- Lenovo Group Ltd. told the U.S. International Trade Commission on Wednesday that it was on its way to becoming the latest company to settle Ogma LLC's claims alleging it imports products that infringe Ogma's patented motion-sensitive sound effects technology.

Lenovo and Ogma filed a joint motion requesting that the ITC stay all pending deadlines in its investigation against the computer company because they were “in the process of finalizing an agreement that would resolve all of the outstanding issues” concerning Lenovo.
