Affiliated Computer Settles Claims Of Inflated Charges

Law360, New York (July 05, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Affiliated Computer Services Inc. has reached an agreement to pay the U.S. more than $2.6 million to resolve allegations that it submitted inflated payment claims on several government contracts from 2002 to 2005.

The claims dealt with company contracts for programs run by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas on Tuesday.
