Cox Faces Renewed Class Cert. Bid In Set-Top Box MDL

Law360, New York (January 09, 2012, 1:37 PM ET) -- Plaintiffs accusing Cox Communications Inc. of illegally tying its set-top boxes to its cable services asked an Oklahoma federal judge Friday to reconsider certifying the multidistrict litigation as a class action, claiming the cable provider withheld key evidence in the case.
