Final Kruger-Linked Consultant Admits To Bribery

Law360, New York (January 18, 2012, 6:00 PM EST) -- A health care consultant accused of passing bribes to recently resigned New York state Sen. Carl Kruger pled guilty Wednesday, electing, like other defendants, to give up his fight against charges stemming from the once-influential Democrat's corruption.

Solomon Kalish's decision to make a plea deal with prosecutors follows a series of guilty pleas from other defendants in the case, including Kruger himself, who admitted in December to taking money in exchange for political favors.
