Bakery Union To Lead Charge Against Hostess In Ch. 11

Law360, New York (January 19, 2012, 5:19 PM EST) -- Local labor groups representing workers at freshly bankrupt Hostess Brands Inc. have tapped their international union to lead a fight against the debtor's plan to jettison existing labor contracts as part of its Chapter 11 reorganization, according to a motion filed Wednesday.

The Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union will represent 35 local unions in negotiations with Hostess.
