Judge Can't Stop Contentious Texas Abortion Law

Law360, New York (February 6, 2012, 9:33 PM EST) -- A Texas federal judge said Monday that a controversial state abortion law that forces physicians to show fetal sonogram images and heartbeat sounds to patients before performing abortions may affect doctors' First Amendment rights, but ruled that he could not keep it from being enforced.
