Firms Facing Another Year Of 'Sluggish' Growth: Study

Law360, New York (February 15, 2012, 7:04 PM EST) -- Law firms should expect a year of limited, if any, economic growth as they struggle to cut back on rising expenses following a marketwide “sluggish” end to 2011, according to a study released Wednesday.

The legal industry ended the year with only a small growth in service demand over 2010, with an especially stunted need for corporate and transactional practices in the second half of the year, according to the 2012 Client Advisory survey.
