FDA Suspends Lab Closings To Weigh Criticisms

Law360, New York (August 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has reportedly suspended its controversial plan, announced in December, to close down six of its 13 food testing facilities.

The FDA will pause to consider objections from both houses of Congress and a presidential panel on food safety.
