Class Certified In Strand Board Price-Fixing Case

Law360, New York (August 6, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has certified a pair of trimmed-down classes in a price-fixing lawsuit against Weyerhaeuser, Georgia-Pacific and the other main North American producers of oriented strand board.

Judge Paul S. Diamond of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on Friday approved one multi-state class of indirect oriented strand board (OSB) purchasers and another similarly defined nationwide class.
