Troutman Reels In Former Chief Atty For Senate Enviro Panel

Law360, New York (March 21, 2012, 2:41 PM EDT) -- Troutman Sanders LLP has recruited the former chief counsel for Republicans on the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, boosting its expertise on clean air and climate change matters, the firm announced Wednesday.

Clean Air Act expert George Sugiyama joined Troutman's Washington office last week. At Troutman, Sugiyama will focus on compliance counseling and auditing, permitting, regulatory development, litigation and enforcement defense, according to the firm.
