Google Offers $2.8M If Android Infringed Oracle Patents

Law360, New York (March 28, 2012, 3:56 PM EDT) -- Google Inc. has agreed to pay $2.8 million in damages if a California federal court finds it infringed the two remaining patents in Oracle America Inc.'s suit alleging Google's Android operating system violated Java patents and copyrights, according to a joint statement filed Tuesday.
