Law360, New York (May 18, 2012, 8:16 PM ET) -- TriQuint Semiconductor Inc. and Avago Technologies Ltd. on Thursday settled a contentious patent infringement battle in which TriQuint accused its rival of gobbling up patents and engaging in anti-competitive behavior to maintain an illegal monopoly on certain cellphone technology.
In a confidential settlement reached two months before a trial in Arizona federal court scheduled for July, the companies ended their litigation over the BAW duplexer technology market and sought dismissal of their claims and counterclaims against each other.
