PepsiCo Rehires Former General Counsel

Law360, New York (June 20, 2012, 9:04 PM ET) -- Former PepsiCo. Inc. general counsel Larry Thompson will reprise his role at the beverage giant, taking over from the current general counsel who replaced him in March 2011 when he left to teach at the University of Georgia Law School, the company announced Monday.

Thompson will rejoin the company July 30, replacing current general counsel Maura Smith and taking on his old capacity as executive vice president, government affairs, general counsel and corporate secretary, which he held from from 2004 to 2011, according to a statement...
