Ex-Tenet Attorney Faces False Claims Charges

Law360, New York (September 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The former general counsel of Tenet Healthcare Corp., who allegedly certified full compliance with Medicare laws even though the hospital operator had entered into questionable employee contracts with physicians, has been hit with a False Claims Act lawsuit.

The U.S. Department of Justice filed the suit on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Christi Sulzbach.
