Ex-Olympic Soccer Coach Kicks Back At Team Over Firing

Law360, New York (July 24, 2012, 3:00 PM EDT) -- A former assistant coach for U.S. men's Olympic soccer, fired last week as manager-coach of the Philadelphia Union, sued the Major League Soccer team on Friday, claiming the club breached his contract 3 1/2 years before it was due to expire.

Piotr Nowak alleges that Keystone Sports and Entertainment, LLC, the team's owner, and Pennsylvania Professional Soccer LLC, the team's operator, acted in bad faith when they terminated his contract “for cause.”
