Agilent, Micromuse Settle Patent Dispute

Law360, New York (July 5, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Business software maker Micromuse Inc. has reached an agreement with rival Agilent Technologies Inc. to settle their patent infringement dispute.

Under the terms settlement, Micromuse will pay “a non-material sum of money” to Agilent, in exchange for the termination of the suits, the company said.

Neither party admitted liability or wrongdoing as part of the settlement.
