Get-Rich-Quick Scam Operators Hit With $479M Fine

Law360, New York (August 23, 2012, 7:15 PM EDT) -- A California federal court on Tuesday ordered the owners and marketers of three so-called get-rich-quick systems to pay a record $478.9 million for deceiving nearly 1 million consumers with phony claims that customers could easily make money using their coaching programs.
