German Court Tosses Nokia Suit Against Qualcomm

Law360, New York (October 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A German court on Tuesday dismissed a suit brought by Nokia Corp. against Qualcomm Inc., which said that Qualcomm could not charge both companies that make cell phone chips, and phone makers who buy them, royalties for several of its patents.

The court said it would give the reason for its decision in two weeks, according to published reports.
