NJ Court Overturns Raises For Camden Firefighters

Law360, New York (January 29, 2013, 4:03 PM EST) -- A New Jersey appellate court on Tuesday sided with the city of Camden and overturned an arbitrator’s award of pay increases to a firefighters’ union, finding the arbitrator exceeded his authority by awarding raises the city cannot pay without state assistance.
