Ex-J&G Atty Gets New Counsel In Tax Shelter Case

Law360, New York (February 1, 2013, 6:49 PM EST) -- A former Jenkens & Gilchrist PC partner accused of helping to create illegal tax shelters will be represented by new lawyers at retrial, slated for September in New York federal court, after parting ways with previous counsel from Jenner & Block LLP.

Two attorneys from Clayman & Rosenberg LLP now represent Paul Daugerdas, the onetime head of Jenkens' Chicago office. They made a first appearance in the case at a conference before U.S. District Judge William Pauley.
