Korean Prosecutors Raid Samsung Headquarters

Law360, New York (November 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Seoul District Prosecutors' Office reportedly raided Samsung Securities' headquarters and another Samsung Group unit's data center on Friday as part of an investigation into a corruption scandal rocking the electronics conglomerate.

A Samsung spokesperson in Korea told Dow Jones that the company denies any wrongdoing, and is cooperating with the investigations. State prosecutors have barred Samsung executives from leaving the country while the inquiry is ongoing.
