NJ, Leagues Debate Federal Ban In Sports Betting Suit

Law360, New York (February 14, 2013, 8:19 PM EST) -- U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman joined professional sports leagues and the NCAA on Thursday in arguing that a federal ban on state-sponsored sports gambling was a valid exercise of congressional power and doesn't unconstitutionally coerce New Jersey to prohibit such wagering.
