Texas House OKs $4.8B Bill To Plug Medicaid Funding Gap

Law360, Dallas (February 21, 2013, 6:20 PM EST) -- The Texas House on Thursday approved $4.84 billion in emergency funding, mostly for Medicaid and related costs, essential to avoid a looming deadline that would cut off reimbursements to hospitals and doctors because of a shortfall in funding left by lawmakers in the last session.
