Deals Rumor Mill: AT&T, Hostess, CVC Capital

Sources told the newspaper that the telecommunications powerhouse is deciding whether to fork over $3.5 billion for a 25 percent stake in Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd., the telecommunications arm of Reliance Industries Ltd. The conglomerate is controlled by magnate Mukesh Ambani, one of India's richest men. The talks come as AT&T, the second-largest wireless service provider in the U.S., fights for market momentum as its rivals ink massive deals that threaten to eat into its business....
