Indonesia To Revise Horticulture Import Rules After US Gripe

Law360, New York (April 12, 2013, 5:18 PM EDT) -- Indonesia said Friday that it will revise rules restricting import volumes on horticultural goods, weeks after the U.S. asked the World Trade Organization to investigate claims that Jakarta's trade controls on plant and animal products discriminate against foreign goods.

Amended import rules will be released by the end of next month, Indonesia's Ministry of Trade said in a statement. The WTO honored Indonesia's request to delay investigating U.S. trade allegations after the country said it would review its trade regulations.
