NLRB Penny-Pinching Unlikely To Spur Settlement Spike

Law360, New York (April 30, 2013, 7:49 PM EDT) -- Although the National Labor Relations Board is putting additional pressure on its regional offices to settle cases in an effort to cut costs in light of budget cuts forced by sequestration, former board members say a major jump in the board's already high settlement rate is unlikely.
