DA Davidson To Absorb Rival To Boost West Coast Biz

Davidson & Co. will swallow up Los Angeles-based rival Crowell Weedon & Co. in a deal to place it among the largest regional brokerages on the West Coast and open new opportunities in the robust California marketplace, the acquirer said late Wednesday.
