Expedia Seeks Retrial After $55M Hotel Tax Judgment

Law360, Houston (May 3, 2013, 7:19 PM ET) -- Expedia Inc., Hotels.com LP and nine others told a Texas federal judge Thursday that a $55 million class action judgment for underpaid hotel occupancy taxes was based on faulty evidence and an incorrect interpretation of the law, and asked for a new trial.
