9th Circuit Grounds NASA Worker Background Checks

Law360, New York (January 14, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- An appeals court has reversed a decision by a lower court to deny a group of scientists working for NASA a preliminary injunction in a case challenging government rules regarding background checks.

In a decision Friday, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit said that contrary to what the lower court said, the plaintiffs have raised serious legal and constitutional questions.
