5th Circ. Win Primes EEOC For Pregnancy Bias Battles

Law360, New York (May 31, 2013, 7:45 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit’s Thursday ruling that Title VII protects nursing mothers from being fired for lactating or expressing breast milk gives the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission a win that will likely embolden the agency as it seeks to crack down on pregnancy-related discrimination, lawyers say.
