NY Lawmakers Seek Fix For Brooklyn Hospital System

Law360, New York (July 15, 2013, 5:06 PM ET) -- A commission is needed to address Brooklyn, N.Y.'s "health care crisis," state lawmakers said Friday, introducing legislation that seeks to address hospital closures, bankruptcies and other challenges facing the New York City borough and its 2.5 million people.
