Kemira Can't Duck Finnish Hydrogen Peroxide Cartel Suit

Law360, New York (July 17, 2013, 6:14 PM ET) -- A Finnish court recently refused to toss cartel damages claims against chemical company Kemira Oyj for allegedly conspiring with other hydrogen peroxide makers to fix prices, professional private enforcer Cartel Damages Claims said Wednesday.

The Helsinki District Court ruled July 4 that Kemira couldn't get the case brought by CDC Hydrogen Peroxide SA tossed based on arguments that the court lacked jurisdiction to hear the case and that CDC waited too long to sue.
