Chicago Man Indicted Over Phony $100B Liens Against Judges

Law360, Chicago (July 26, 2013, 1:55 PM ET) -- A Chicago-area man was indicted Wednesday on charges that he threatened two federal judges with arrest and filed bogus $100 billion dollar liens against them and other officials in an attempt to get even for the 2010 conviction of his wife on tax fraud charges.

Tyree Davis Sr. of Flossmoor, Ill., was arrested after a federal grand jury returned an eight-count indictment charging him with obstruction of justice and filing fraudulent liens against government employees, according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice....
