5th Circ. Urged To Keep BP, Anadarko On Hook For Gulf Spill

Law360, New York (July 29, 2013, 6:33 PM EDT) -- U.S. Department of Justice attorneys on Friday slammed BP PLC and Anadarko Petroleum Corp's efforts to appeal a district court decision that found them liable for Clean Water Act violations in the Deepwater Horizon disaster, telling the Fifth Circuit there's no question the companies are liable.
