NYC Pols Have High Hopes For East River As Funding Rolls In

Law360, New York (August 1, 2013, 1:40 PM ET) -- New York City and state officials said Thursday that an initial $8 million to begin improvements and environmental mitigation along the East River on Manhattan's Lower East Side marked a first step toward revitalizing a stretch of the city largely ignored until it was deluged by Superstorm Sandy.
